Carina’s got no plan for her life. Never has. She’s been to four ARTA whitewater schools, (“They were really fun so I just kept signing up”), worked four summers on the river (“It just always made sense for me to be a guide”), and is currently ski-bumming out of a friend’s rent-free cabin in Steamboat (“Duh”). In between, she stumbled upon a degree in Public Health from Santa Clara University (“I’ve got something to fall back on, but that’s not a plan”), with a minor in Biology (“My best friend needed a study buddy for Med Micro”), while volunteering for an organization supporting people with developmental disabilities, (“That was actually intentional”). If she keeps up this reckless behavior, someday she’ll be the happiest something, somewhere (“That’s the plan”).
