Serena loves food, which is awesome on a river trip. And she loves people, which is awesomer. The two loves together mean that even if it’s just peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, being in the kitchen with Serena is a happening; a celebration; an adventure.
It’s also a dream; a future; a solution. She wants to follow up her undergraduate degree in American Politics from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Urban Planning so that she can help design greener cities, make food more accessible, and create more sustainable communities. Which is, well, awesomest!
