Born and raised in Georgia, Rachel brought all of the Southern Charm but none of the slow drawl to her new digs of Northern Idaho where she works as a ski instructor while all the other pieces fall into place. The other pieces are coming from the classroom (a degree in Outdoor Education at Georgia College), the land (learning about sustainable agriculture while working on organic farms), the sky (completing an outdoor leadership internship focused on weather), the emergency room (studying to be an EMT), the theater (dancing and moving since childhood), and of course, fate (following a serendipitous whim to go to whitewater school).
All coming together into a well-rounded and yet-to-be-revealed (but certain-to-be-outdoor) calling.
