Austin grew up in the lush Pacific Northwest on Bainbridge Island, Washington where he fell deep in love with fluid arts of movement. This love has taken him all over the world surfing, kayaking, spear fishing, and mostly splish-splash giggle-giggling in any body of water available. He now resides in Missoula, Montana where he is enjoying wild flowers, wild winters, and a Counseling Graduate program at the University of Montana.
