Aaron is one of those people who can put you at ease and make you feel comfortable without really trying. Maybe it’s the big shoulders that you know you can lean on. Or the big heart that you feel you can curl up with. Or the big ears that you trust you can open up to. Maybe it’s the aw-shucks-I’m-just-a-hick-from-North-Carolina lilt to his voice or the oh-my-goodness-are-you-serious depth to his eyes. Maybe it’s his shameless affinity for romantic comedies or his open fondness for sentimental poetry. Maybe it’s how comfortable he is with his unfinished English degree and how at peace he is with his unvarnished guitar skills. Maybe it’s just his curly hair and crooked smile.
Obviously, it’s all of the above (and he is trying).
