More About
Brice
What is your favorite book/movie and why?
"The sun is a Compass"... It's a true story about a couple's human powered journey from Bellingham to Northern Alaska. It's well written, ambitious and inspired me to dream.
What’s your spirit animal, and why?
My spirit animal is a river otter becuase I love the rivers and am full of curiosity for the world around me. Always have the zoomies.
Why do you guide for ARTA?
I guide for ARTA becuase I love to bring people into the spaces that I care so much about, and I believe that ARTA has the best culture of guide and guest interaction.
Whats that little something special that you bring to a river trip?
I'm unafraid to be amazed by the beautiful things around me. I may be 20 trips into a season, but my smile will always be genuine.
If you could take one person - real/fictional - alive or dead down the river, who would it be and why?
Give me John Muir on the Tuolumne to hear his stories from a time before the dam of Hetch Hetchy valley.
Pro River Guide Tip:
It never rains on the Tuolumne ;)
