The rivers and canyons of eastern Utah and western Colorado are enchanting places full of dramatic scenery, fascinating Native American history, mind-boggling geology and fun rapids; more wide-eye than white-knuckle.
In Dinosaur National Monument we offer four day whitewater river rafting trips on the Green River through Lodore Canyon which features a narrow passage between red, blocky cliffs and intimate little side streams and slot canyons. This is one of the best introductions to extended wilderness raft trips.
Also in Dinosaur National Monument is the Yampa River where we offer five day trips in June and early July when this free-flowing river is alive with spring runoff. The Yampa's cliff walls are smoother and paler than the neighboring Green and the canyon offers some great hiking.
Our six day trips on the Green River through Desolation Canyon travel through one of the west’s most remote and isolated canyons and offer a chance to really escape and unwind. The canyon is full of reminders of previous inhabitants and offers some great historical perspective.
All trips are great for families, ideal for first-time rafters, and perfect for those who don’t mind an opportunity to wonder about it all.
