Middle Fork Salmon
SPECIAL TRIPS FOR FLY-FISHING
All the fish, none of the pretension. . . .
We have the passion.
We have the skills.
We have the access.
We have the local knowledge.
We don't have fancy gear, expensive clothing or wine and brie for lunch.
We just want to fish.
If you share our passion for fishing and our aversion to pretension, we'd love to share five days with you on one of the premier trout streams in the west. This isn't a "fly-fishing trip" where we're going to select your flies, tie your knots and wipe your hands; this is an old-fashioned ARTA river trip that will spend a lot of time fly-fishing. You'll need to bring your own fishing gear (see list), your own camping gear (see list), and your own alcoholic beverages. You'll need to pitch your own tent and pack your own dry bag. You'll need to cast your own fly and unhook your own fish - (often!)
We'll do everything else.
These special 5 day fishing trips will begin and end in the rugged cowboy town of Salmon, Idaho.
"I have never caught so many fish in my life - and when
I wasn't catching fish I was mesmerized by the scenery.
This is heaven! Even for people who don't fish."
Perry Walker
ARTA GUIDE
JORDAN REEVES
Jordan is an optimist. He thinks he can combine his interests in international relations (Bachelor's degree in Comparative Politics from UCSD), ethnic studies, (two years in the Peace Corps in Panama developing a sea turtle protection and ecotourism project), the environment, (a lifetime of outdoor pursuits and passion), social justice, (another year in the Peace Corps finding and preparing underdeveloped communities for future projects) and Spanish (a year of study at the Universidad de Barcelona) to change the world. Plus have a family. And surf. Spend a few days with him and you'll be an optimist too.
