1 Day-Regular (10 miles)

Our one day trips on the South Fork of the American River are exciting journeys through the rolling foothills of California's Mother Lode country. We will cover 10 miles of river and tackle over 20 rapids, from small riffles to big drops, and we will enjoy the scenery and history of the region.

1 Day-"Full River" Upgrade (20 miles)

Our one day " Full River " trips are an upgrade from the one day regular South Fork trips.  We cover 20 miles of river and tackle over 40 rapids, from small riffles to big drops, and we will still be able to enjoy the scenery and history of the region.

On our Full River Trips we will run both the upper stretch of the South Fork from Chili Bar to Camp Lotus, (Meat-grinder and Troublemaker), AND the lower stretch from Camp Lotus to Folsom Reservoir, (Satan's Cesspool and Hospital Bar). The rapids are spread out throughout the day and the most difficult rapids are rated Class III+. Everyone should be prepared for a long, action-packed day of paddling.
