LISA BUCHANAN
Lisa has always preferred the simple over the complex, the humble over the grandiose, the natural over the artificial. She has no cell phone, no computer, no satellite TV. She thinks a PDA is a Lord of the Rings character. Her most modern concessions are a 1992 Toyota truck (with a "Reduce, Resue, Recycle!" bumper sticker) and a month-to-month storage unit. Seasonally, she swaps gear between the two: skis for a kayak, snowshoes for sandals, beanie for cowboy hat. She grew up and went to college in Colorado, got a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, then moved to Idaho because if offered less. When Starbucks opens a Wi-Fi hotspot in McCall, she's heading to Alaska.
